I will work out what's best

Today I have been praying for my future, especially in the last 3 months of mission, I guess it's time to consider praying for what action I should take. Whether it be college applications, job applications, resume's, offers, and all that jazz. So I offered it up to Mary and so I opened the princess book which is an (awesome grace at the moment in my life) and I opened it to this page which says " I know what's best for you, and nothing happens without my knowledge. I see your disappointment when things don't unfold in your life the way you had envisioned. But if you could only lift your eyes to heaven and see My hand moving with eternal purposes, you could better understand. Don't forget that your life here is temporary...in other words, My love , your not home yet. But for now I want you to trust in Me in your disappointments, and let Me turn your pain into a passion to persevere. Wait on Me, my love. Don't give up! Rather give in to Me and My perfect lan for you, knowing that I only desire the very best for you.
Love,
Your King and Father who truly knows best"

The scripture following was from Psalm 121:5
"The Lord watched over you the Lord is your shade at your right hand."

Isn't this awesome!
The details of this book is  "His Princess - Letters from your King" the author is "Sheri Rose Shepherd"
I recommend this to every woman, christian or non christian! This book is awesome!

Roses

So I went to Holy Hour tonight, and that was a really funny concept, we were already running late, so we had to change trains, like numerous times.I was freaking out hoping that they weren't going to finish early so I offered it to Our Lady. As I was running I came across a beautiful rose that looked exactly like this one. I was desperate, because I also needed the sacrament of Penance. I knew that this was going to be an inconvinience for Father as, many would he would have a tight schedule. But mother gave me this idea to give a pink rose to someone, at the time I didn't know who for.Originally I was going to give it to Jesus in the Eucharist, but that didn't work out as I planned. We managed to get there just before the Blessed Jesus was going to be put back into the Tabernacle. I kneeled and prayed to Our Heavenly Father and Our Blessed Mother and I didn't think about the rose to just before I went into the confessional. I know that priests have many burdens to carry so I felt this real pure love of giving the rose to Father. I know this sounds weird but I really think that he was mean't to recieve that small gesture of love. We especially need to pray for our priests.

One thing I was reflecting on was the fact that Mama is soo in love with roses, in many things she talks about the our prayers are like fragrance into the heavens, and such is these mainly referring to roses. Named also as the Mystical Rose. This really captured a thought in my head which then in turn became a revelation. The simple analogy of we the children of God being a beautiful rose, can obtain such things as thorns. Humanity is so fragile like a beautiful rosebush, that has a beautiful face, a fragrance, a colour which attracts the purity of truth and love. This can be misguided by our sharp thorns, sometimes in a distance cannot be seen. Signifying our brokeness, our woundedness, our sharp weapons of mass destructions. I don't know if you've ever looked at a pretty rose and you become so astounded at its beauty that you go straight into touching it, after realising you've been pricked. We are all like that and its so beautiful! So Beautiful!

The Narrow Gate

Matt 17:13
"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it."

Today I watched a movie based on the life of St Bernadette, and how much she suffered persecution and faced many adversities and trials and tribulations. Bernadette lived in the beautiful humble city of Lourdes, where she was brought up in humble beginnings. God chose her to become his precious servant, to allow the mother to grace herself in her presence. She was deemed stupid and didn't know anything, not even about the name in which our Blessed Mother named herself to her as the Immaculate Conception. Our mother would send messages of love and peace and warned her of the dangers the humanity may be facing. There was one message that stuck to me the whole time watching the movie. " She cannot promise me happiness in this world, but the next". I knew that this was the message that was especially for me.This is the only way.
My actual mother shared with me that her wedding day is actually on the feast of the Immaculate Conception. She has been just a thread throughout everything we've done, and I know she has little children around the place just doing little things to help change the world.

Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, pray for us

Fundraising

Hey people, I am back again with another post but this time its really serious, not that any of my other posts aren't, but here it goes. I am doing this amazing thing called NET ministries. Net stands for National Evangelisation Teams.NET is a group of young people who put their lives on hold for a year and live in community and share the power and love of Jesus Christ, by sharing our personal stories. Prior to coming on NET we need to raise a certain amount of money that will help with costs for a non-profit organisation. NET purely runs on donations and seeing as this is the second half of the year I still have more than half to raise. I really need your help, I raised almost all of my sponsorship last year and I know how generous people can be, so I am asking from the depths of my heart for your generous giving whether it be through prayers or through financial help, especially for this year. Myself and two other people from my parish are raising our sponsorship together and slowly we still have more to raise. We are currently in need $12,000 and its hard to raise that much money in such a small period of time, but we have every reason to believe that this is "God's will" and so in hand this is his "bill". God has done amazing things in my life and has changed many peoples hearts through NET and he is helped me to become the better person I was made to be. If you are interested in more plz feel free to give me a buzz on my email: grace.iuliano@gmail.com or just press the beautiful link  below and write for "Grace,Fred,Dette"

Mere Christianity

I have been amazed at this book I am reading from the wonderful C.S Lewis which defends and abolishes any preconceptions of the faith. More so for unbelievers, one of the passages I read about right or wrong was the fact that if you imagine God playing a melody or a tune, say if we do something not according to the melody then the music will sound WRONG, It doesn't necessarily mean it is wrong its just that the note is not suppose to be where it is, because the composition sounds wrong. I don't know if you've ever heard a beautiful song, everything is in harmony, unified, graceful, as oppose to someone learning a music piece you'll have to make many mistakes to try and learn the song. Its abit like us in this world. We are hardwired for good yet we normally do what we ought to do, so its almost as though we are still learning our song!

From little things big things grow.....
